Sharon(a) Renee Walker was born on July 9, 1964 and was the only daughter born to Herman and Lucille Walker.

Sharon was baptized and has been a lifelong member of Friendship Baptist Church. She attended District 65 schools; Walker Elementary and Skiles Middle School before attending Evanston Township High School where she graduated Class of 82. She went on to further her education at Kendall College, Oakton College and even studied abroad in Costa Rica. Her love of travel has taken her all around the world; including Thailand, Australia, Greece, Turks and Caicos, Jamaica and Ghana, Africa. Her love for the culture and community she embraced in Ghana led to 11 journeys and she did many years of missionary work in the villages. Her creative mind and connection to the people of Ecru led to the birth of Yawa Natural Beauty Products. Sharon studied the art of Batik and cultivation of the Shea Nut in which most of her beauty products derived. Entrepreneurship and philanthropy weren't her only passions. Other passions of Sharon's was her love for the Performing Arts. She was a member of Thunder Theater at ETHS and is one half of ShaGee, Inc. The first public performance of songs under the imprint was "Let's Fly Away" which was performed at her 8th grade graduation. Sharon continued to lend her voice to Project Advancement Gospel Ensemble (P.A.G.E), under the direction of the late Herman Ruff, The Vessels under the direction of the late Alfra Love as well as the choir of Friendship Baptist and Evanston One Choirs.
Although Sharon's mother, Lucille, preceded her in death, she is survived by her father, Herman(Jackie), her husband, Brian Anderson, brothers, Stephen (Maricela) and Cary (Suyin). She is also survived by Teresa, Tyrese, Torien, Tekeya, Ebony, Brandon, Laila, and Stephen, Jr., her nieces and nephews as well as three great nephews. Godmother, Rutha Mayfield, godfather Ulysses Mayfield, who preceded her in death, god-brother Tony (Wanda), god-sister Sandra Mayfield. She is loved and respected by a host of others but none more than her best friend of over 47 years, Charlene (Gigi) Boynton.
Sharon departed this life wrapped in the bosom of Jesus on Saturday March 4, 2023 at 10:15 p.m.
