Life Reflections of Pierre Anthony Evans

Pierre Anthony Evans was born on April 16, 1983, in Evanston, Illinois, to Glynis Evans and Stanley Robinson. He was the oldest of three children. His grandmothers, Earlene Evans and Mary Weeks (Junior Weeks), and his grandfathers, Rogis Clark and Archie Robinson, preceded him in death.

Pierre accepted Christ at an early age at Friendship Baptist Church in Evanston, Illinois, under the leadership of the late Pastor Zollie Webb. He attended the Evanston public school system. His hobbies included singing, drawing, bowling, and cooking. He honed his cooking skills at Chicken N Waffles, PF Chang's, Uncle Julio's, and Olive Garden.

Those who knew Pierre affectionately called him either "Pee" or "Pistol P." Pierre cared deeply for everyone around him. If there were a poster board hanging high in the sky listing true friends, Pierre's picture would be on it. He was a true and loyal friend to many, with a forgiving heart. Pierre was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back. If anyone called Pierre for help with moving, painting, or anything else, he would show up without hesitation. He will be deeply missed.

Pierre leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Glynis Sidney; his brother, Patrick Robinson; his sister, Dawn Sidney of Skokie, IL; his father, Stanley Robinson (Latrese) of Ackman, MS; his daughter, Nyla Evans; his stepbrother, Antonio Philpot of Memphis, TN; his stepsister, Cloretha Herb of Chicago, IL; his two godbrothers, Jared Frye and Shaun Walker; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

"I LOVE YOU, PEE." "My heart is broken, and there are no words to express how I feel." – Mommy
