IF I HAD WINGS LIKE A DOVE, I WOULD FLY AWAY, AND BE AT REST

Pastor Robert Davis Sr. was born April 18,1940 in Greenville, MS. to the late Rev. George W. Davis Sr., and Udoxie (Hall) Davis.

From the union of his parents, he was the youngest of 7 children. After many years of living with medical issues, he departed this earth on August 5th, 2023.

Pastor Robert Davis Sr. accepted Christ in 1984 at Christian Fellowship Church in Waukegan, IL.

Pastor Robert Davis Sr. and Marie Davis Was married in May of 1963 in North Chicago, IL.

Pastor Robert Davis Sr. was drafted into the U.S Army on August 22nd, 1963, and discharged on February 27th, 1964.

Pastor Robert Davis Sr. joined the Milwaukee Police Department in July of 1966.

In 1969 Pastor Robert Davis Sr. started working at International Harvester for 13 years, and then worked for Cherry Electric for 16 years as an electronic designer technician/engineer.

Pastor Robert Davis Sr. was a loving and "GOD" fearing Son, Pastor, Husband, Father, Brother, Uncle, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather, Great-Great-Grandfather, and with a host of family and friends.

He leaves to cherish his memories after 60 wonderful years of marriage his loving wife Marie Davis. He also leaves four sons, Robert Davis Jr., Ronald A Davis Sr., Raymond A. (Tina) Davis all of Waukegan, IL., and Richard A. (Andrea) Davis of Deerfield Beach, FL., four daughters, Carolyn (Davis) (Jerry) Webster of Greenville, MS., Annette (Wade) Davis of Zion, IL., Rosalind (Joe) Morgan of San Diego, CA., Roshondra Davis of Zion, IL., Jasmin O'Neal Davis of Oak Park, IL., sister-in-law Ann Davis of Memphis, TN. A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. A host of sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Pastor Robert Davis Sr. was proceeded in death by his parents Rev. George W. Davis Sr. and Udoxie (Hall) Davis; loving daughter Rhonda Marie (Davis) (Anthony) Bush; loving brothers, Fleming L. Davis, Nelson Davis, George W. Davis Jr., Jeremiah Davis, Albert Davis, loving sister, Mattie Davis, and granddaughter Pam Kelly.
