Miriam Edwards (February 11, 1944 – May 21, 2026) was born in Mount St. Bernard, Portland Parish, Jamaica, and emigrated to Chicago in 1968, where she made her home. The beloved wife of the late Paul Edwards, she was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose faith and family were her greatest joys.

Miriam never met a stranger. She moved through the world with warmth and genuine curiosity, making everyone she encountered feel seen and valued. We are forever grateful to have known her, loved her, and been loved so well in return.
