Marfrances "Frances" Howze went to be with the lord on Sunday, February 25. In Dickson, TN. She was born September 4, 1939, in Cowpen, SC. Marfrances was the 6th child of 14 children born to P.A and Velma Proctor.

She relocated to IL in the early 1950's. Where she would meet the Love of her life the late Alphonso "Hunnie" Howze. Soon after they would marry in 1957.from this union they would have 4 children. They would be married for 67 years.

She was a praying woman. At an early age she would give her life to Christ. Later in years she would become a faithful member of Suck creek missionary Baptist Church in Spartanburg, SC.

Family and friends knew her as "Frances". To the community of North Chicago, IL she was known as the candy lady. To know her was to love her. She was a mother to the motherless, A friend to the friendless and a listen ear to those who needed it.

Marfrances would be survived by 3 of her 4 children. Renay [Tracy], Shermain [the late Ferlisa] and Marcus Howze. Her 11 grandchildren Philip, Tony [Roberta], Alexis, Jenay, Ty'kerah, Adrian[jasmine], Ashley, Jaylia, Iyanna, Brianna, Kaiden her 14 great grandchildren Saniyah, Malachai, Phinesha, Dametre, Destiney, Houston, London, Wynter, Royal, Marqus, Camren, Aubree, Amri, Philliph jr.3 sister and two brothers, host of nieces, nephews and friends who loved her dearly,

She is preceded in Death by Her Mother, Father, Husband, Daughter and twin sister.
