Obituary

Jovon Nelson was born November 4, 1999 in Evanston, IL to the late Johnny Brown preceded him in death and Tangela Nelson. He was second child born to this union.

Jovon accepted Christ at Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church. He was a faithful member of New Zion Missionary Baptist Church of Rockford, IL and was dedicated to God's work.

Jovon attended Wendell Phillips Academy High School. After school he later created his own landscaping company "JB's Landscaping". Jovon also managed his mother's company "Sandwichqueen".

Jovon leaves to cherish one brother Travon Nelson, two sisters Tayjohnna Nelson and Tanell Nelson. He Also Leaves two nephews Zaire And Devon, one niece Ava He also leaves Devoted aunties and uncles Lateasha Brown, ShawanadalaBrown, Stephany Kelly one Great aunt Lesa Lane, Carlton Nelson (Jessica), Larry Nelson (Shanice) A devoted step father Lennell Wims (Kehelah), Desiree Williams (Dallas), Channell Wims, Alexis Wims, Darnell Wims .

Preceded Jovon in Death Johnny Brown and his Grandmother Tangela Nelson.

Jovon Has devoted cousins Robert Connor, Jay Nelson, Verlena Connor, Latia Douglas and Nastria Fulton. And a host of other cousins he loved so much! Jovon also was loved by many friends and professional people. Dameris, Rodney and Krystal.

Jovon was loving and caring, he'll help out whenever he could. He loved to make music with his cousins and friends. Jovon was professionally trained to box by Nate Jones (Mayweathertrainer) at Taylor Park and also Johnny Higgins at Hammers haven inc. Jovon also worked as a teen in the One Chicago summer program with Nicole Reed and Richard Gallion. Jovon was the light in the room. His memory will always carry on we will never forget that affectionate smile we love you always. Rise to Paridise JB
