Eula B. Jones
Eula B Jones was born July 29, 1937, in Como, Mississippi to the late Jessie and Roberta Davis. Eula was the youngest out of 8 siblings.
Upon moving to Evanston, she earned her education through the Evanston School District and flourished.
Part of her career began at Deibel Manufacturing Co. in Morton Grove, IL before starting a landscaping business, Jones Landscaping Service, with her husband Jesse, serving the Northshore area.
Eula met the love of her life Jesse Jones whom she united in Holy Matrimony on July 14,1956 and to this union had two children, Danny and Peggy Ann Jones. Eula gave her life to Christ at an early age and was a devoted member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church.
Eula enjoyed spending her time outdoors in her garden or relaxing on her patio She enjoyed the company of family and friends during the holidays or special occasions. She was a woman of remarkable strength and known for her caring nature, her ability to listen, and her unwavering support. Her gentle spirit and peaceful demeanor made her a calming presence in the lives of everyone around her. Her compassion extended beyond her family, as she touched the hearts of many with her kind and gentle ways providing a safe and nurturing environment. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, peace, love and strength that will never be forgotten.
Eula was preceded in death by both her parents, Jessie and Roberta Davis, Siblings; Jessie James "Gene" Davis Jr., Luther Davis, Arlene Taylor, Fannie Davis, Eldridge Davis, her Husband Jesse "Baby" Jones, Son Danny Jones, Daughter Peggy Ann Jones. She leaves to cherish her memory, one Sister; Verneda Davis, one Brother; Joe Davis, two Sister-in-Laws; Eddie B. Davis and Dorothy Davis, 4 Granddaughters; Brittney, Jovona, Jessica and Briana, 7 Great- Grandchildren; Daniel, Elijah, Noah, Dylan, Isiah, Israel, Brielle' Ann and a host of loving Nieces, Nephews and Friends.
