Betty Jean McGee Anderson was born on June 10, 1956, in Bogalusa, Louisiana to Riley William McGee and Deloris A. Martin McGee; both who proceed her in death. Betty was the second oldest of the three children born to this union.

Riley and Deloris McGee later relocated their family to Evanston, Illinois making Evanston their home. Betty attended Washington Elementary School, Chute Middle School and is a proud graduate of Evanston Township High School class of 1974. She enjoyed many activities at E.T.H.S. especially her time as a cheerleader and being Willie the Wildkit.

After High School, Betty spent her career working for the Skokie Police Department who became like a second family to her.

Throughout her life she continued her love for sports and activities spending her free time participating on various softball teams, bowling teams, and coaching for the Mike Juniors Bowling League.

As a dedicated member of Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, she loved singing and directing the choir, praise dancing with the Women of Praise, and her sisterhood she formed with the Women of Worth Ministry.

Betty shared a special bond with her brothers, Riley Jr., and Mark, who she cherished so very much. She is most known for her big, beautiful eyes, contagious laughter and telling you like it is.

Betty is proceeded in death by her parents, Riley McGee, and Deloris Martin, brother Mark McGee and husband Russell Anderson.

Betty leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter, Quiana Puleo; son, Timothy McGee; Grandchildren, Diamon Hicks, Parris Murray, Devontae Hillman, and Quiana Bonus; Great Grandson, Grayson Gray; Brother, Riley McGee Wallenberg; Niece, Kaitlyn McGee; Nephews, Ryan and Marcus McGee; and a host of relatives and close friends.
